So, here it is. Finally. I've been talking about starting this blog for quite some time but something seems to always get in the way. Thanks to a little good natured ribbing from a friend, it's under way.
I've been inspired to focus more on photography lately. I think most of that comes from being a dad and wanting to have better than average pictures of my daughter as she grows up. But, there's more to it. It's more artistic. It's a great outlet and challenging. Something so simple, yet so hard. Sometimes you catch lightning in a bottle. Sometimes a picture you know will be great tuns out terrible.
Most of these initial pictures are just what was lying around. I hope to start giving myself projects and doing more still life and nature photography to add. So, with that... off we go.
I'll try to tell the back story of the shot when I can.
Madison on the back porch in the morning light. She was very patient with me, but still won't sit still.
My sister and her son Luke.
This is my sister-in-law Ashley. I love this picture because of what just might be going through her mind.
